Cuddle up to a Japanese toy that turns heads and stops snoring

All over the world people snore independent of the language they speak. Snoring is a universal symptom of conditions that block the airways, making it hard to breathe healthily during the day and even more so at night. People can suffer from different types of snoring and may have tried various snoring remedies. Snoring may even cause relationships problems, with the condition often disturbing the sleep of the sufferer’s partner. However, the Japanese have come up with a cuddly yet modern solution to the problem and have invented a robotic bear named Jukusui-kun, as a stop snoring solution.

How does the robotic bear stop snoring?

The soft, cuddly bear looks like a little polar bear pillow. Although the Japanese have named this gentle creation Jukusui-kun, meaning “deep sleep”, you can give the bear any name you wish. The bear lies next to you in bed and has an in-built microphone that acts as sensor to your snoring levels. When you snore loudly, the bear gently raises a paw and nudges your head to the opposite side. By changing the direction your head is resting in, your snoring stops. During the night, the bear offers comfort and turns your head softly for a healthier sleep.

Not only does the bear comfortably stop snoring by turning heads, the Jukusui-kun system built into the bed sheets is also designed to detect levels of blood oxygen flow as treatment feedback. Medical professionals can then adjust the stop snoring treatment treatment accordingly.  For more conventional methods you can visit The Private Clinic.

Availability of Jukusui-kun stop snoring treatment

The Jukusui-kun robot bear to stop snoring is not on sale yet, but may be approved in the future as a treatment. In the interim, other stop snoring treatments exist, such as snoring strips, somnoplasty, essential oil treatments and even surgery in extreme cases.
